The 4 growth phase.

Are there any special precautions that I should take before and/or after treatment?
It is important to stop tweezing or waxing hair 4 weeks before treatment so that there are as many hairs as possible inside the hair follicles that can be destroyed by the light.
The light is a normal visible light so no special precautions are needed. However, since tanning takes place by accumulation of pigment (melanin) in he sin it is utmost importance to avoid tanning before and between the treatment sessions. Otherwise the skin will also absorb the light, thus making the treatment less effective.

Generally no post-treatment is necessary but people with very sensitive skin benefit from using a soothing cream for a few days. It is strongly recommended to limit sun exposure and to use sunscreen (minimum SPF 30) for a few weeks following the treatment.

The Ellipse system features unique IPL2 technology and represents the second, safe generation of Intensive pulsed light that is directed to the skin contains only the wavelengths that are required to perform the treatment.  Potentially harmful wavelengths are removed by the Ellipse Dual Mode filtering system.

Traditionally light based hair depilation system have been associated with laser. However research has shown that IPL systems are regularly producing superior results compared to the laser devices originally available
